This little guy was hamming it up. He kept wanting to look at the light diffuser’s instead of the lens. GO CHASE!

The Fall Season came and went so quickly this year. As I look out my window I can see my daughter shoveling the snow off our walks. The first snow storm to dump it’s wintery gift has given me a chance to get caught up on some of the fantastic portrait sessions over the past month.
Photographing kids is so unpredictable. Sometimes I get lucky and catch them in a good mood and when they are willing to play nice with the camera. Sammy-J and the Wades…

Did I mention that I love night shoots? It doesn’t take much to light up a beautiful family. Just give me a front lawn, strobe and some of that D700 love! Brett Remington and I had a great time with the Oswald’s. I think their beautiful kids even had a good time behind the lens. A fun take from the evening…

A fun session from this past weekend. Thank you to Holly, Steve and little Reggie. I had a great time behind the lens. Here is a preview for the family.

This evening I had the opportunity to be a second shooter and back up fellow photographer Bret Remington. The Liggett family came in from Cheyenne Wyoming with their beautiful children. I brought along the 300mm 2.8 VR for some head shots. I love shooting on the large prime. The results are stunning.
